Imperial German Saxony Miniature Medals, General Honour Cross & Cross With Crown For Sale

Amatching pair of 16mm miniature decorations from the Kingdom of Saxony (Imperial German Empire). These are formal wear miniatures (Ordensminiaturen) intended to be worn on a dress tunic or civilian tuxedo chain (Frackkette).The lot includes:

1. Saxon General Honour Cross (Allgemeines Ehrenkreuz): Features the \"AR\" (Albertus Rex) royal cypher monogram on the obverse, and the Saxon Coat of Arms wrapped in an oak wreath on the reverse. Measures 16mm wide.
2. Saxon Cross of Honour with Crown (Ehrenkreuz mit Krone): The scarcer 1907-1918 variant featuring an intricate, detached Royal Crown suspension block at the top. Matches the design profile of the standard cross perfectly. Measures 16mm wide (approx. 25mm total height including the crown loop).

Condition:
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with a rich, uncleaned bronze patina. Gilding shows light honest wear consistent with age. Both suspension rings are intact.
