Plate is a mixed rust and cream background with 3D effect cream design of an elegantwoman kneeling next to a man laying against a tree with 2 lambs looking on. Plate iscalled \"A Thing of Beauty\" and designed by Gayle Bright Appleby. The plate is large at 10 1/4 inches in diameter and also has a cream designed rim. Dated 1978 and also numbered - 6497. Plate is artist signed under the man. It reminds me of old Victorian style wall hangings. Would look great anywhere - bedroom, living room or bath. No chips, cracks or repairs.
