Rare mixed tube of vintage Marvel Comics production material containing 19 oversized black-and-white production pieces from Iron Man #247 and Avengers #240.
All 19 photographed pieces are included and will be sold together as one mixed lot. This lot will not be separated.
IRON MAN #247 — “Malled!” — 1989
Six oversized printer’s flats are included: numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8. Flats 5 and 7 are not included. The represented material includes the opening title page and scenes featuring Iron Man, the Hulk, Madame Masque, Hydra and A.I.M.

AVENGERS #240 — “The Ghost of Jessica Drew!” — 1984
Thirteen oversized production sheets are included. The group contains multiple numbered sheets along with alternate or repeated production configurations, blank advertisement spaces and handwritten production instructions. No Avengers flat numbered 6 was identified in the photographed contents.
The story centers on Jessica Drew, the original Spider-Woman, with appearances by Tigra, the Shroud, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Wasp, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Starfox and other Avengers characters.

CONDITION:
Acceptable. The sheets show substantial curling from decades of rolled storage, edge and surface wear, black production residue around the borders, discoloration, scratches, handwritten markings, blank advertisement spaces and other age- and production-related imperfections. Both issue groups should be considered incomplete or irregular production sets.
The entire lot has been stored together and will be carefully rerolled and shipped inside one protective tube.
