1 desirable Japanese WWII Naval dirk available. This WWII Japanese Naval Officer’s dirk would make an important addition to any collection.

This dirk has a surrender tag attached–rare for a Japanese naval dirk. The tag reads ‘Tukuba Naval Air Station–turned into the Allies upon surrender by Sgt. Shiyji Uast‘. This is a very rare thing to have a surrender tag attached to a Japanese WWII naval dagger.

This fine Naval dagger has a premium sharkskin saya (scabbard). This dirk measures 13 3/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 8 3/8″. This dagger has a polished-on hamon.

The handle has a wire-wrapped genuine same/rayskin grip. The saya is covered in premium Japanese WWII Naval Officer’s dirk is in exceptional condition. There are a couple of tiny spots of carbon staining on the blade. All fittings are nice and tight. The center wire of the handle wire is missing in spots. The locking mechanism functions perfectly.

This Imperial Japanese Navy Officer’s dirk would make an important addition to any Japanese sword or world militaria collection.
