I have inherited a vast collection of autographs from my Mother. It’s a collection that was gathered over decades of waiting outside stage doors, (some of which I spent with her playing Eye Spy while waiting for whoever to turn up), writing to celebrities, and also attending special signing events. There are boxes of them of which I don’t have the room for so apart from the odd few I’m keeping the rest are up for grabs and will hopefully find a home where they will be treasured.
I check each one before selling and will advise which are genuine and which are prints. A lot are personally signed to my mother with her name on, but this will also help confirm their authenticity.
A 2.5x3.5 white card genuinely signed by Joan Plowright.
Mom would always include a small white card when writing to celebrities for their autographs.
