Large Antique American Federal Period tole painted metal tray, circa 1820-1850; oval in shape, the colorful tray features two handles around the perimeter, the interior of tray embellished by hand-painted fruit, flowers and leaves on a light green background. Horizontal interior surface with pyramids and foliate border.Red Paint on verso.
The tray is in very good condition commensurate with age and use with some surface wear, loss of paint, some later touch up of green paint.
