About the item:Interesting pair oflate 19th century iron armour gauntlets, c1880. These are good qualityVictorian copies of medieval armour. They are well cast and heavy at 2.2 kgcombined weight, with an articulated thumb and nice fine detail to the thumb,fingers, knuckles etc. The metal has taken on good colour/patina and overallcondition is good with only very minor surface wear.
