Ca 1880s Ansonia Large figural mantel clock, late 19th C., enamel face, standing French Cavalier with Rapier sword in 17th Century Costume, clock with partial open escapement, gilt finish to metal, ebonized base with Eastlake motif, on molded bracket feet, floral and scroll motif throughout.
Condition: VERY GOOD. Wear consistent with age and use including loss of finish to metal, some pitting on ebonized base. Runs and Keeps Time, Deep resonant chime on the hour and half hour.Works not examined closely…may need some oiling, etc.
