Vintage Emerald Green Foliate Art Glass Stoppered Bottle
Large unsigned emerald-green molded art-glass stoppered bottle, dating broadly to the 20th century. Heavy, flattened circular body is covered in dense foliate relief surrounding large polished oval reserves. Integral scroll-form lateral lugs, faceted neck, and a substantial circular ground-glass stopper. Rare design, not well documented.
Design fits neatly with Czech and Bohemian Malachite type glass tradition from Schlevogt/Ingrid, Hoffmann, and Halama workshops. No exact catalogue match and I've looked quite a bit here and abroad, would love to hear from you if you can ID. The bottle stands slightly over 9.5 inches tall with the stopper and measures approximately 7 inches across overall. We collected a lot of glass from Prague in the 90's and early 2000's which is where this would have come from. Wear and design doesn't situate this neatly in 1930's or 1990's but it's likely somewhere in between there.
