These Vintage Mid-Century Modern \"Siesta Ware\" Tiki Tumblers were manufactured by the Benner Glass Company during the 1960s. They are highly collectible pieces of retro barware that perfectly embody the Hawaiian Luau and tropical backyard patio trends of that era. The glasses feature a unique frosted pastel finish accented by real mahogany wood veneer wraps. The wood jackets are held tightly in place by gold-tone metal bands at the top and bottom. The wooden wraps are stamped or etched with stylized tropical motifs, including pineapples, palm trees and native outrigger boats. The soft pastel colors include blush pink, sky blue, peach, mint green and pale yellow. Please Hand Wash Only: They are absolutely not dishwasher safe. Immersing them in water will warp, split, or rot the wood veneer. Over time, the wood wraps can dry out and crack. And that\'s what has happened to these 12 tumblers. Please check out the 4 sets of photos. I show 3 tumblers on their Best side. The next pic is the same glasses with their splits. Then the clear bottom shows the Siesta Ware maker\'s mark. Clean, but please handwash before use. Collectors frequently recommend rubbing the wood jackets gently with beeswax or mineral oil to maintain their luster and prevent splitting. But you can\'t really repair those existing splits. NO Glue! The tumblers\' interior are in great shape. All overnight hold-water-tested.
