Published by Bravo Press in 1983, these are reproductions of the historic November 1909 “The Mogollon Mines” publication from Mogollon, Socorro County, New Mexico. These are NOT original 1909 issues.
These fascinating publications contain period mining history, illustrations, mine information and historical accounts relating to the Mogollon mining district, including the Top Mining Company, Little Dry Creek, Capital Hill, Ironclad, McKinney and other mines and claims.
Both copies feature the striking Needle and Needle\'s Eye / Cooney Canyon cover illustration.
One or both copies contain handwritten historical notes and annotations from a previous owner, including additional information concerning local locations, ranches, rainfall and early area history. These annotations have been left intact and may be of interest to researchers and collectors of New Mexico history.
