This is a collection of full size vintage feed sacks, not flour sacks. There are 7 in the lot, 3 are opened, 4 are not. A few have some slight staining that will most likely come out with a 2-3 day soak in Oxyclean. None of these feed sacks have rips, tears, cuts, or holes.
OPENED at the side seam are 1. the gray with red flowers, 2. the yellow with back green and orange blocks, 3. the yellow with blue, green and red blocks (otherwise perfect vintage condition).
UNOPENED: 1. white with purple diamonds and fruit, 2. white with purple and pink daisy-like flowers, 3. white with red blue and yellow blocks (perfect vintage condition), 4. the green and pink diamonds.
No musty smell. Shipping weight is almost 3 lbs. for the 7 sacks. Shipping weight is a bit higher with shipping supplies. I do not pad shipping at all. Please select the best option for your location/situation/needs. Thank you!
I have another lot of 7 feed sacks (coming soon or already posted when you read this) which have some rips, tears and cuts at a lower price. Check it out, especially if you are repurposing the fabric into crafts made with vintage fabrics.
RETURNS: accepted as long as all pieces are contained in the return in without rips, tears, cuts or further staining. Thank you.
During the depression, manufacturers of things like animal feed, rice, etc., began printing designs on their bags because they learned that people were making clothes from the bags. In order to save the dignity of their customers, they started creating these designs. Designs continued to be printed on feed sacks up until the 1960\'s. This means, these sacks are a minimum of 40 years old while some may be 70 years old. Finding them in good usable condition in large lots can be hard.
