Up for sale is a fantastic, historical matching lot of two original 1941 vintage 4x5 inch snapshot photographs documenting President Franklin D. Roosevelt\'s historic inspection visit to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. - Historical Event: Taken exactly on March 31, 1941, during FDR\'s famous tour of the rapidly expanding Fort Bragg base. The motorcade captures FDR alongside base commander Major General Jacob L. Devers and Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson driving past dense military crowds.
- Provenance: The reverse of the photo lot retains its crisp, official military ink stamp belonging to soldier John Apostolos, Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery, dated March 31, 1941, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
- Bonus Documentation: Includes both sides of the vintage collector\'s identification card describing the piece as a \"Very interesting lot of (2) Real Photos.\"
- Condition: Both photos are in good, well-preserved vintage condition. They are flat, free of heavy creases or tears, and have excellent contrast. Please review the high-resolution images for full physical details.
