This lot consists of two Underwood & Underwood stereo view cards.
\"Nearly a mile straight down and only a step, Yosemite from Glacier Point, Cal.\" Depicts a man and lady, he holding her hand as she stands the \"step\" away from falling to her death, while another bearded man sits nearby. This card was copyrighted in 1894 by Strohmeyer & Wyman. The back lists the title in 6 different languages.
\"Amidst Yosemite\'s Charms - Sentinel Hotel, looking north across Valley to Yosemite Falls, California\" shows a front view of the hotel with a stage coach outside, drawn by four horses carrying tourists. Copyright 1902 by Underwood & Underwood.
Both cards are in good condition with the usual marks of age. Both are perfect rectangles and fit in my stereo viewer. Holding the camera perfectly level is difficult, making the individual full card photos appear uneven.
