VINTAGE ELGIN MOTHER OF PEARL COMPACT
Lovely vintage ELGIN compact measuring 2-11/16\" wide, 2-1/4\" tall and 1/4\" deep. Featuring a sturdy, goldtone metal case, to is mounted with striking Mother of Pearl tiles - beautiful opalescence in soft creamy pastel colors. Hinged compact opens with a latch front revealing an interior mirror and flip up cover over unused powder compartment.
Condition is wonderful - latch closes securely on both the powder holder and the compact - exterior has no broken shell tiles and there is no discoloration or patina to the metal. Interior is clean without damage - complete with the old felt holder which has protected it nicely - marked ELGIN AMERICAN. Just a gorgeous vintage compact - comes in the original Tiffany Blue box marked EA on the front - minor box wear. Such a glamorous unused vanity compact - lovely addition to any collection or display!
