Up for sale is a stunning mid-century modern set of two (2) hand-blown cased glass apothecary canisters, produced in the famed Empoli glassmaking region of Tuscany, Italy, circa 1960s–1970s.

These striking pieces feature a dual-layer incamiciato (cased glass) construction—a rich teal turquoise / aqua blue outer layer blown over a clean opaque white milk or opaline or opalina glass lining. The lower bodies are styled with a bold, raised bubble dot / cabochon relief pattern (oversize hobnail) and topped with original fitted lids accented by spherical ball finials. Both pieces feature raw snapped pontil marks on the base, confirming true hand-blown artisan Canister (with lid): 11.25" Height x ~4" Diameter
