This listing is for a Mithril Classics MC29 “Orcs of Mordor” blister pack containing two figures, produced in Ireland by Prince August and sculpted by Chris Tubb. The Mithril Classics line reissued some of the most popular early MERP figures in 100% pewter with updated packaging.

Lore Background

The Orcs of Mordor were the most numerous of Sauron’s forces, bred and trained in the dark land of Mordor to serve as soldiers, laborers, and overseers. Known for their cruelty, treachery, and tireless service to their master, these orcs fought in vast armies during the War of the Ring, from Osgiliath to the Pelennor Fields.

This set captures two heavily armed Mordor Orcs, one wielding a curved sword and another with spear and shield, representing the variety and savagery of Sauron’s hosts.
