This 1978 GOEBEL® FIRST EDITION ANNUAL BELL LET\'S SING #700 is a charming early release in the ANNUAL BELL series and features the classic M.I. HUMMEL artistry collectors love. The BELL displays the beautifully detailed motif of M.I. HUMMEL FIGURE #110 LET\'S SING in bas relief on the front, and 1978 in RED is embossed on the reverse side along with the incised M.I. HUMMEL signature. The child is rendered in warm pastel tones with GOEBEL\'s® signature hand‑painted finish. The piece retains its original FIRST EDITION designation and includes the matching BOX, making it ideal for display or gift‑giving. The BELL shows excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs noted, and the colors remain bright and clean. The BOX shows typical shelf wear from age but is fully intact and protects the BELL well. The underside carries the correct GOEBEL® backstamp for TMK 5 and model number HUM 700, confirming authenticity. A wonderful addition for any HUMMEL enthusiast or collector seeking a complete and well‑preserved example from the late 1970\'s ANNUAL BELL series. This is a wonderful opportunity for the M.I. This piece is part of the M.I. HUMMEL  tradition inspired by the artwork of SISTER M.I. (MARIA INOCENTIA) BERTA HUMMEL (1909–1946), the BAVARIAN FRANCISCAN NUN whose drawings of children became the foundation of all GOEBEL® HUMMEL figurines. Her gentle, pastoral style continues to influence GOEBEL\'S® collectible series, including the ANNUAL BELLS. These ANNUAL BELLS display beautifully and represent nearly a quarter‑century of GOEBEL® craftsmanship and SISTER HUMMEL\'S timeless THE FINE PRINT ♦
