WORLD WAR 2 NAVY OR MARINES
This is dated May 19th 1945. A certificate I have never seen. Not quite what is being honored but I do know they were out to sea. It does state they were in war with Japan. It gives the coordinates of the location where he was presented this honor.
I think it was for a man over board because in the beginning it says to all sailors, mermaids, whales, sea serpents & other sea life and toward the end of the certificate it says he is to be honor with due respect to him wherever he may be.
It is an interesting read even if you don’t purchase it. Would love to hear response what you the reader thinks it is.
