Rare salt and pepper shakers made by Macbeth Evans Glass Co. in the popular depression era pattern known as "American Sweetheart." Manufactured in the 1930s, this is the monax color, which is white with a translucent edge. These shakers measure 4" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter across the foot. They come with their original metal tops (in perfect condition). If you collect American Sweetheart, you know that these shakers are sort of the Holy Grail of the pattern!The salt and pepper are in great condition with no damage, chips, cracks, or repairs.
