Personally I have never seen this exact type before - it shows very dark mahogany mixed with black obsidian . Looking closely, the material is quite gorgeous and could open up significant creative possibilities for cabbing or carving.

Tri-Flow Obsidian from Glass Butte, Oregon, is a mahogany obsidian variety featuring multiple flow patterns and grain currents that create mesmerizing designs. The obsidian between flow lines is often pure and nearly transparent when backlit or cut thin. Color comes from magnetite in the lava flow, giving it the characteristic mahogany appearance. This material is increasingly difficult to find, with most market slabs being old stock.
