This knife design carries the grit and ingenuity of the World War I and II trench fighters. The originalMark 1 trench knifewas created to replace the less effective Model 1917 and 1918 versions — ditching the triangular blade for adouble-edged flat bladethat could actually perform in the field.
When the U.S. needed knives fast, the first Mark 1s were ordered fromAu Lion in France. This modern version pays homage to that history while adding a clever twist — it’s built toincorporate real 1911 gun grips.
Compatible with most Full Size 1911 Grips. Not all grips are built exactly the same and may need slight altering.
