Vintage Marzi & Remy German beer stein with a hinged pewter lid and leaf thumb lift. Relief-molded and hand-painted with a tavern couple sharing beers in a gilded rococo frame, surrounded by famous German landmarks: Frankfurt Römer, Nürnberg, München Hofbräuhaus Wiesbaden Kurhaus and Heidelberg Schloss.
Marked on the base with the Marzi & Remy MR shield, mold number 18, and \"Made in Germany.\"
Measurements: about 9\" tall with lid closed, about 4.5\" across the base. Approximately 0.5 liter.
Condition: pre-owned. Bright colors and gilt, crisp relief. Lid hinge works properly. Light interior wear and grime on the base rim. No chips or cracks found. Please see all photos, they are part of the description.
