CONDITION:We are pleased to offer for sale a scarce Seville Yellow McKee No. 11 one and a half pound butter dish. McKee had a full line of kitchenware in this hard to find color. McKeedesigned their kitchen glassware to be not only functional, but beautiful as well. Pieces of McKee\'s Seville yellow range from moderately hard to extremely hard to find. The color is desirable and items for sale do not remain on the market for long. Putting together a set of Seville Yellow is certainly worth the time and effort spent. This lovely butter dish is inUndamaged Condition without chips, cracks or mold imperfections. The color is outstanding. The bottom is nice and clean. The inside rim is nice without any of the roughness that is usually found on the inner rim. The lid has a well defined pattern. This hard to find butter dish has the round mark when held to the light, and the \"McK\" letters can be seen. This outstanding piece has been well cared for. When placed under a black light this piece fluoresces. You will love adding this butter dish to your collection of McKee\'s Seville Yellow.McKee Seville Yellow - (1930s) The McKeeGlassCompany is one of two companies that had a complete line of yellow milk glass items made specifically for the kitchen area. The McKee line included round canisters with glass lids, canisters with aluminum screw lids and drop lids,measuringcups, reamers, rolling pins, waterdispensers, leftover jars, spice shakers, salt and pepper shakers, water bottles, a saltbox, mixers and mixing bowls in several different shapes. There was even a punch bowl made in this color. The Hocking Glass Company made a fairly large line of kitchen yellow, but these pieces are not easy to find. The Hocking color was not as vivid and deep as McKee\'s, but it has steadly gained favor with collectors over the years. McKee\'s Seville Yellow is still popular with collectors today. Although it is not easily found, putting together a complete set of Seville Yellow is well worth the hunt.
