Vintage Stangl Thistle Pattern Candle Warming Stand
The Stangl Thistle pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1950. It remained in production until 1967. The pattern is one of many floral themed designs and features incised lines and hand painted detail. The Thistle pattern proved to be one of the bestselling lines for Stangl during the 1950s. This specific piece was produced as an accompanimentto the several coffee and tea pots featured in this pattern. There is a small center holder which fits a tealight candle. Numerous openings along the sides ensure the candle will remain lit.
Measures ~ 3 1/4" H x 4 3/4" in diameter.
In excellent vintage condition. Without chips, deep scratches, or cracks. The art detail is intact and bright. The glaze is shiny. Please see the pictures.
