An unusual miniature figural porcelain scent bottle in the form of an Ottoman (we think) seated on a cushion holding a fan in his left hand and an object, possibly a cup, in his right. Probably Paris, late 19th century. 5.6 cm (2.2 in) high.
Maker’s marks: There is a grey crescent mark to the unglazed base. We do not know if this is a maker’s mark (please see image).
Condition: Very good. No damage and only light wear. The figure’s hat forms the stopper and is currently secured in the bottle with Blu Tack/Sticky Tack. It fits better than it appears in our images.
