Mosser Glass Maple Leaf Marigold Carnival Glass Lidded Sugar Creamer Set For Sale

Beautiful Mosser Glass Maple Leaf sugar bowl and creamer set in brilliant Marigold carnival glass. Made in the USA by Mosser Glass of Cambridge, Ohio, these pieces feature the highly detailed Maple Leaf pattern with raised leaves, textured geometric backgrounds, scalloped edges, and a spectacular iridescent finish that shifts through shades of amber, orange, pink, gold, and rainbow color depending on the light.

The covered sugar bowl is especially striking, with three applied handles surrounding the body and an elaborate triple-loop finial on the lid. The matching creamer has a gracefully curved handle, pronounced pouring spout, and scalloped rim. Both pieces have substantial weight and feel beautifully made.

The Maple Leaf pattern and Marigold color are documented in Mosser's catalog, and the measurements of the covered sugar correspond closely with Mosser's published specifications for this pattern. Both pieces also bear the molded Mosser maker's mark.

The set is in pristine condition. I could not locate any chips, cracks, repairs, or notable surface wear. I also do not see any indications that the pieces were actually used. The iridescent carnival finish remains exceptionally bright and beautifully preserved.

A wonderful set for a Mosser Glass or carnival glass collection, and particularly attractive displayed where the iridescence can catch changing light.
