I can not date the year of manufacture, but it dates to when theUnited Feature Syndicate
was in Garfield\'s \"life\"from 1978-1994. The shade might have slight discoloration from it\'s age.
This shade has the following approximate measurements:
Top diameter - 4 inches
Bottom diameter - 9 inches
Shade slant - 7.5 inches
Shade height - 7 inchesThis shade does not require a harp. The shade rests on the socket base.
The drop is 2 inches for the shade to cover the socket.
Shown also is the shade resting in place on the lamp it was originally intended. When available, this lamp is for sale in another listing.
