NOS Vtg 1950s HUGE 16 LB Box Tide Laundry Detergent W/ Handle UNOPENED For Sale

NEW OLD STOCK!! From the 1950s, this has to be the largest box of Tide Laundry Detergent I\'ve ever seen! It weighs 16 lbs and 1 ounce. It came from a recently closed hardware store that had been in business for over 150 years. The store also sold appliances, so this box would have been a gift for their appliance customers. It’s fresh out of the original cardboard carton! I’ve dated the box to the mid-50s based on the tagline on the front, “The Washday Miracle” (under the free gift sticker). The back has some interesting details, including instructions for using Tide in a wringer washer and suggested uses like washing dishes and linoleum. The box is in excellent unopened condition, featuring a handle at the top. It measures 17.5\" in height, 11.5\" in width, and 8.5\" in depth.
