Native American traditional wood carvings handmade by Gloria Lopez Cordova from the San Ysidro village in New Mexico. Perfect condition. Pieces are all signed and they include:

Gloria\'s work is part of the Cordova santero tradition characterized by unpainted figures decorated with chip-carved patterns. Following in the footsteps of her family from her great-grandfather she has developed her own celebrated style. She is the granddaughter of Jose Dolores Lopez, who created images of saints in this same unpainted, chip-carved manner to widespread acclaim. Gloria’s work can be found in museums across the country, such as the Museum of International Folk Art and the Spanish Colonial Arts Society in Santa Fe, the Millicent Rogers Museum in Taos, and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
