π DESCRIPTION
This Navy SEAL Team THREE challenge coin brings together one of the most recognizable Naval Special Warfare identities with an unusually large, team-specific design. Measuring approximately 2.75 inches, the oversized octagonal profile gives the piece considerably more presence than a conventional round challenge coin, while the Horsemen, Brotherhood, and Team III imagery gives this example a particularly focused SEAL Team 3 identity.
The obverse is dominated by a raised gold-tone Special Warfare Trident, incorporating the eagle, anchor, trident, and flintlock elements of the SEAL insignia. Raised banners reading SEAL TEAM and THREE frame the centerpiece against a deep black enamel field. The strong relief and contrasting finish make the insignia the visual focal point of the coin.
The reverse carries three separate designs: the winged BROTHERHOOD emblem with Roman numeral III, the mounted skeletal HORSEMEN figure, and a separate Team III tactical frog figure.
