Its enclosed hook cutting edge is designed for fast, controlled cutting of seat belts, webbing, rope, cord, clothing, and similar materials. The large handle opening provides added reach and leverage, including when wearing gloves. It is a fixed, non-folding rescue/safety cutter—not a traditional pocketknife. The Model 8 measures 6.5 inches overall and uses 440C stainless steel with a black finish.Unused and appears excellent.
