Wonderful set of four New Orleans coasters celebrating the city’s historic department-store and retail heritage. Each coaster features a different iconic New Orleans store design.
Set includes:
* Maison Blanche – “Greatest Store South”
* Krauss
* Godchaux’s
* D.H. Holmes monogram design
The Godchaux’s coaster features illustrations of recognizable New Orleans architecture and landmarks, while the Krauss coaster depicts the historic downtown store and surrounding streetscape.
One coaster retains a Milk Studio, New Orleans, Louisiana label on the cork backing.
All four have cork backs to protect furniture.
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age and use wear, including discoloration, staining, surface marks, edge wear and wear to the cork backing. The graphics remain attractive and readable. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition. They have been left in their found condition rather than aggressively cleaned.
