The lid features the large San Felice / Deisel-Wemmer mark with “Lima, O. U.S.A.” prominently displayed, while the interior retains its original San Felice label and additional factory information. The box also carries surviving tax/revenue markings, including what appears to be a 1926 tax stamp.
This example has nice regional interest with its Ohio manufacturer connection and Waterloo, Iowa-related history noted with the box. The turquoise-green border graphics and bold San Felice branding give it a great early tobacciana display look.
Condition shows age and use throughout, including staining, discoloration, scuffs, edge wear, label wear and other surface imperfections consistent with an antique wooden cigar box. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition, markings and details.
