ORIGINAL WWII ERA U.S. BAR BROWNING AUTO RIFLE LARGE SPARE PARTS POUCH UNISSUED For Sale

ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO - KOREAN WAR ERA U.S. BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE LARGE SPARE PARTS POUCH UNISSUED. This pouch, or "parts envelope", was issued to hold small spare parts for the BAR. It was intended to be carried inside the leather spare parts & accessory case. The pouch is made of olive drab color canvas duck with two dome snaps. Measures 5 inches X 3 inches. This pouch is unmarked but it dates to the late WWII or possibly Korean War era. There were two different sized parts envelopes issued for the BAR. The small 3 inch X 3 inch pouches are rather abundant on todays market but these larger 5 inch X 3 inch pouches are not as often seen. Shown in the photos is page 43 from the Field Manual (FM 23-15) BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE dated 30 June 1943. This page (only for reference, not included) shows the larger of the two spare parts pouches, middle row, far left. In excellent unissued & serviceable condition showing some light age & storage wear.
