DESCRIPTION:This is a nice old vintage coiled flat woven basket (see photos). The item has a design woven into the basket with some color fading on the front from age and a more colorful backside (see photos). The basket is not marked by a maker (see photos). I was told that it may be African in origin. I do not know who or what tribe made this basket, or if it is actually from Africa (research and decide the origin of the item on your own). The basket is old (see photos). The basket is from an estate liquidation (see photos). The basket measures in total of about 2.5 inches high, and it measures about 18 inches wide. The basket has some color fading, some dust in the woven basket, some losses to the basket, and some wear (see photos and decide the age, the origin, and the maker). This is a nice old vintage woven basket to add to your collection.
