This is a nice, large, antique, metal floral motif picture frame with convex glass (see photos). The item is ornate with 4 cast metal decorative flowers along the outer edges. The frame has a transitional Art Deco/Art Nouveau period style. The item retains its original finish and the original clear bubble convex glass insert. The item is made of ceramic art pottery with a hand-painted majolica faience decoration. The frame is not marked by a maker. The item looks to be American in origin to me (see photos to determine the origin and the maker). This item measures in total about 14.5 inches high, and it measures about 10.75 inches wide at the outer edges of the floral decorations. The frame would accept a photo or picture about 13 inches high, and about 9 inches wide (trimmed to fit the shape of this frame). There is a wire attached to the backside so you can hang the item securely for use or display. The item is antique and dates to 90 +/- years old. The item is from an estate liquidation. The item has some finish losses and some wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item).
