Up for sale is an authentic, historic "old stock" copper ore specimen collected near the famous Old Dominion Mine in Globe, Arizona. This mine is legendary in Arizona mining history, operating heavily from the 1880s through the early 1930s.
Specimen Features:
- Matrix: Dense, heavy reddish-brown to dark metallic cuprite/tenorite matrix with a central quartz-rich fracture vein.
- Mineralization: Features distinct, bright green secondary copper carbonate pocket fills (Malachite/Chrysocolla) nestled within the porous, vuggy surface cavities.
