Original 1950s RCA Studio Warning/On Air Light For Sale

This listing is for a vintage RCA studio “ON AIR” warning light, likely from the 1950s, with original cast‑metal housing and label. This is an authentic RCA MI‑11717 style studio sign, not a modern reproduction. The cast body and hardware are original and have the classic mid‑century broadcast look and patina. On the back is the original RCA logo and Warning Light label marked “MI‑11717,” confirming its studio origins.The originalred and opaqueglass “ON AIR” face was broken long before I acquired this light from a Pacific Northwest PBS Television station; the remaining original glass pieces are included in the sale for authenticity and potential restoration. The light is currently fitted with an aftermarket orange and white plastic “ON AIR” lens so it can be displayed and used without hunting down a replacement glass panel.
