Up for sale is a highly collectible, genuine vintage Chevrolet "U-S-A-1" promotional front license plate from 1971. This is a true single-family ownership piece with excellent provenance: it was originally acquired by my grandfather, who worked directly in Chevrolet dealership sales during the 1970s. It has been carefully stored ever since.
This is an authentic dealership booster tag, NOT a modern aluminum reproduction. Perfect for a period-correct restoration on a classic Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Corvette, or GM truck.
Key Authenticity & Condition Details:
- Family Provenance: Acquired brand new from a Chevy dealership in the 1970s by a family member in sales.
- Construction: Heavy-gauge stamped steel (magnetic).
- The "Green Back": Features the highly sought-after, original factory olive-green enamel primer on the reverse side. This is the primary indicator of a true vintage assembly-line era plate.
