Vintage souvenir monument of the Pioneer Woman statue in Ponka City, Oklahoma given as a souvenir at the 77th Annual Banquet of the Ponka City Chamber of Commerce in 1971.
This miniature statue is cast in metal with a light bronzed finish and excellent detail. It depicts the 19th century pioneer woman striding forward, Bible under her arm holding her son\'s hand determined to settle the West. The base reads \"PIONEER WOMAN - PONCA CITY - OKLAHOMA\". The bottom is covered in grey felt with the original label reading \"Souvenir of 77th Annual Banquet - Ponca City Chamber of Commerce\".
It stands 4.5\" tall by 2\" wide by 2\" deep.
The real 17-foot bronze statue was dedicated in 1930 and has become the symbol of Ponca City. This Chamber of Commerce souvenir replica dates from 1971.
