Paul Harris\' NIGHT SHADES – Original Vintage 1993/1994 Magic Trick – Complete Apparatus
Offered here is an original vintage Paul Harris\' Night Shades, the wonderfully strange close-up magic effect in which sunglasses apparently move around on George Washington\'s portrait on a U.S. dollar bill.
This is the original marketed gimmicked version of Paul Harris\' Night Shades, dating to approximately 1993-1994.
The original instruction booklet is dated Santa Cruz, California – November 7, 1993 and carries a © 1994 Paul Harris copyright. The booklet also credits Guy Camirand and Gary Ouellet of the Camirand Academy of Magic for its design and page make-up.
THE EFFECT
A pair of sunglasses apparently moves to different positions on George Washington\'s portrait on a dollar bill, creating a wonderfully strange and visual piece of close-up magic.
The original packaging describes Night Shades as:
“A self-working phenomenon!”

EXTENSIVE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
This set retains the complete 10-page Paul Harris instruction booklet, rather than simply a basic instruction sheet.
In addition to explaining the principal Night Shades effect and apparatus, the booklet presents numerous additional ideas, variations and handlings. These include methods for expanding the effect beyond the prepared bills, including a presentation using a borrowed and signed bill.
The booklet therefore represents an important part of the original marketed Night Shades package and provides considerably more material than the basic effect alone.
