The slide has a hand written title on the top edge ( not visible in photos ) and within the box this came in there was a note these were purchased from Bonhams sale house on the 29th November 2011, Lot 102, I did check and Bonhams did indeed hold a photographic sale on that date.L683 B105If the slide is watermarked \" \" in the image. The slide consists of two glass plates. The image is applied to the first plate and a second covers this to protect the image. The slide normally has a inner paper border and then the slide is then held together with edging paper.Please be aware that as the slide can be photographed from both sides the image in photo 1 may be reversed in error.
