This 1915 real photo postcard (RPPC) depicts a rustic iron truss bridge over a creek, surrounded by bare trees, possibly during late fall or early spring. The card shows the bridge structure, a small stone support, and a wooden ramp descending from the side. The bridge appears to be a modest rural crossing in the Wenona, Illinois area.
On the reverse, there\'s a handwritten message dated April 23, 1915, and a clear Wenona, IL postmark. The card is addressed to Miss Grace Martin in Maroa, Illinois and features a green 1-cent Washington stamp.
Condition:
Visible age-related wear, corner rounding, and light stains. Slight damage on the left side edge. See pics for detail.
