This Pre-WW1 1900s German WKC Chilean M1895 Mauser Export Bayonet & Scabbard is in good condition and shows only light signs of age, service and storage.
The ricasso is clearly hallmarked by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co and the bayonet was manufactured in Solingen, Germany. The Chilean Crest as well as the Krupp Steel trademark are stamped on the reverse side of the ricasso. The crossguard is stamped with a serial number. The blade is clean overall but does show evidence of handling and service. The original wooden grips are in good condition and only display expected wear from handling and storage. The steel scabbard is also in good condition and retains a strong amount of it's original blued finish. A non-matching serial number is stamped on the frog stud and what appear to be inspection stamps can be observed on the scabbard throat and finial ball.
