Here’s a rare set of a interwar era French Army Uniform. This set is complete with the tunic and breeches.
The tunic itself remains in very nice condition overall with minimal wear and age to the material itself. Complete with sleeve stripes, and a removable style ribbon bar with WW1 era awards. The interior lining remains clean overall, and is named in pencil on the interior pocket flap, shown in the photos. Stamped on the interior as well which is shown in the photos. The tunic has a pit to pit measurement of 18 inches, and a sleeve length of 24 inches.
The breeches remain in fair condition overall. The breeches are a smaller size than the tunic, and likely are not an original set, but pieced together by a prior collector. Scattered light signs of mothing to the wool. The leather seated area remains in nice condition overall, and is not overly dry from age. Pants have a waist measurement of 26 inches, and a inseam measurement of 21-3/4 inches.
Overall, this is a nice uncommon uniform display that is only in need of a cap!
