This RARE real photo post card (rppc) is an image of 4 women representing the Women's International Union Label League (WIULL) at a 1912, three-day convention in Brainerd, Minnesota. They are wearing badges/buttons/ribbons promoting the organization.
There is an article about the convention in the February 14, 1912 edition of the Brainerd Dispatch newspaper.The W.I.U.L.L. was organized in 1907 under the Central Trades and Labor Council. The members were wives whose husbands were union members, and they promoted buying union-made goods.
This post card is nearly perfect. It's perfectly flat and crisp, no creases. Paper itself shows age.
Measures 5 3/8" x 3 3/8".
