Up for sale is an extremely rare original copy of The Flapper Magazine from July 1922 (Volume 1, Issue 3). Published in Chicago during the height of the Roaring Twenties, this historic issue is famously known for publishing "A Flapper's Dictionary" ("A Flapper is one with a jitney body and a limousine mind"), making it one of the most sought-after issues of the title for Jazz Age collectors and pop culture historians.
Condition Details:
Structure & Spine: Excellent structural integrity with no folds, tears, or creases. Pages are complete, intact, and firmly bound.
Cover: Clean and bright color/paper. There is a small, faint handwritten pencil notation on the front cover reading "page 29".
Interior: Clean interior pages. Photos of Page 29 (referenced on the cover mark) and all full-page spreads are included in the photo gallery for complete transparency.
Stored carefully in a protective sleeve with backing board in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment. Will be packed securely between sturdy rigid cardboard inserts for safe shipping.
