RARE 1968 Mexican Swirl Glass Bottle ERROR Mismatched Dual Logos Full Bottle For Sale

Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic piece of soda bottling history.

This vintage 355ml swirl glass Pepsi bottle was manufactured in Mexico in 1968 and features a major dual-era factory misprint error.Instead of matching labels, this unique bottle walked off the assembly line with two completely different generations of Pepsi branding printed on opposite sides!

The Factory Error Breakdown:

Side A (1960s Era): Features the classic, stylized red and white "Pepsi-Cola" cursive script logo inside the white oval.

Side B (1970s Era): Features the clean, modern "PEPSI" block-letter globe logo introduced during the global 1973 corporate rebrand.

The Cause: This mismatch occurred during the transitional period at the manufacturing plant when silk-screening plates were being upgraded. A machine misalignment allowed both generations of logos to be printed on the same bottle simultaneously.

Bottle Markings & Condition:

Heel/Base Stamps: Clear, embossed factory markings are molded directly into the clear glass base rim showing the number 68 (1968 production year) alongside the "G in a circle" maker's mark for the historic Vidriera Guadalajara glass plant in Jalisco, Mexico.

Text: The lower rim features crisp, original white paint reading "HECHO EN MEXICO" and "MARCAS REG." along with the factory optical registration lugs.

Contents: The bottle remains factory sealed and full with its original vintage dark liquid. The original metal crown cap is firmly in place with a heavy, authentic aged rust patina.
