Came across this great antique Swiss Cowbell made of bronze with foundry mark. Measures 7 inches high and 8 inches wide. Very long resonating ring. Original dinger and strap loop at top made of hand forged iron. Typical decorative motif in the casting. I guess bells of these types were only used in Weddings and major holidays. I am sure this would have certainly echoed in the Swiss alps. Great old and antique and rare. Weighs it just over 5 lbs. Original. Thanks for looking.
